A Little About Me: Dr. Minni Saluja

Board-Certified Ophthalmologist | Fellowship-Trained in Cosmetic Dermatology | Master's in Regenerative Medicine

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here—and if you’re reading this, it likely means you’re exploring ways to feel more confident, radiant, and refreshed in your own skin. Whether you’re new to aesthetic medicine or looking for a physician with advanced training, I’d love to take a moment to share a bit about myself and why this work means so much to me.

From Science to Skin: My Journey in Medicine

I began my career in healthcare as a pharmacist, earning my degree from the University of Kentucky. From there, I pursued medical school at Emory University, followed by residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. I returned to North Carolina as a board-certified ophthalmologist, and early in my career, I began treating patients with hemifacial spasm using botulinum toxin (BOTOX®). That was my spark. I became deeply intrigued by the intersection of medicine, beauty, and function, and I knew this field would become my life’s work.

I went on to complete a rigorous fellowship in Research and Clinical Cosmetic Dermatology with Dr. Mitch Goldman, one of the world’s most respected leaders in cosmetic dermatology, in La Jolla, California. That fellowship changed the course of my career. It immersed me in the daily art and science of injectables, dermal fillers, and advanced laser technologies for treating vascular conditions, pigmentation, aging, fat, and collagen remodeling. Since then, I’ve never stopped learning—and never stopped loving what I do.

Unmatched Training in Regenerative Aesthetics

To further deepen my commitment to medical science, I earned a Master of Science in Regenerative Medicine from Wake Forest University, one of the world’s leading institutions in tissue engineering and translational biotechnology. My education gives me a unique lens through which to view aging—not just as a cosmetic concern but as a biological process that can be supported, slowed, and often reversed through science.

The field of regenerative aesthetics is growing rapidly, and I remain at the forefront of new advancements in cellular rejuvenation, collagen biostimulation, and tissue repair. From exosome-based therapies and biostimulators to red light therapy, plasma energy, and growth factor applications, I continuously evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies that allow the skin to heal, strengthen, and thrive from within.

This is not just about treatments—this is about delivering long-term improvement using the latest evidence-based, biologically driven techniques.

Global Educator, Local Physician

I serve on the Medical Advisory Board for Cynosure, the world’s largest aesthetic laser company, and work as a consultant to other aesthetic laser and device companies, advising on laser design, safety, ergonomics, and treatment innovation.

I’ve had the honor of lecturing across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as nearly every state in the U.S., sharing insights on laser science, neurotoxins, regenerative therapies, and advanced injectables.

Teaching keeps me sharp. It forces me to stay accountable, constantly reading journal articles, following new clinical data, and staying ahead of treatment evolution—so that the information I bring back to you, my patient, is always at the leading edge of what’s possible.

When you choose me, you're choosing the same level of care I provide when educating the physicians who treat others around the world.

Over 17 Years of Experience, All Rooted in Compassion

Since completing my fellowship in 2007, I’ve spent the last 17+ years dedicated exclusively to aesthetic medicine. I’ve performed tens of thousands of cosmetic treatments, spanning a wide spectrum of technologies, devices, protocols, and regenerative modalities.

Every face is different. Every treatment plan is customized. My goal is always to help you look like yourself—only brighter, more rested, more vibrant.

At my practice, all injectable treatments are performed by me, not delegated to another provider. You’ll always receive physician-level care, every time.

The Heart of My Practice

At Saluja Cosmetic and Laser Center, we are a small, dedicated team. I’m proud to work alongside an amazing staff who share my commitment to kindness, professionalism, and transparency. From consultation to follow-up, we’re here to ensure your experience is warm, welcoming, and empowering.

Whether I’m helping a bride-to-be feel her best for her big day, working with someone who values subtle enhancements as they age gracefully, or treating a new mom who’s reclaiming time for herself after years of caregiving, I feel incredibly grateful to be part of that journey. Beauty exists—no question. It would be my honor to enhance yours.
